Referral Terms

These terms apply when you share NovelGPT with a referral link or code, or join our partner program. They are part of our Terms of Use. We may change or end the program at any time; rewards you have already earned under these terms are paid.
Share NovelGPT
Any writer who has signed in to an account can get a personal link and code from Share & Earn in the web app (in Settings and in Subscription & Credits). How the program works, in short: Affiliate Program.
- Your friend's bonus. A friend who opens your link (or enters your code) as a new writer gets 2,000 credits with their first purchase.
- Your reward. When that friend pays on novelgpt.app, you earn 20% of what they pay for a plan (15% for a credit pack) as money, or 30% (20% for a credit pack) as credits if you choose credits. You earn on their payments for 12 months from their first purchase.
- Which purchases count. Only purchases made on novelgpt.app count. Purchases made in the App Store or Google Play do not earn rewards. The amount is what your friend paid, not counting tax and minus any refund.
- First link wins. A friend counts for the first link or code they used. Codes are for new writers: an account that has bought from NovelGPT before cannot be referred.
- Credits rewards are added to your credits when they are approved and work like pack credits (see our Terms of Use). They have no cash value.
Partner program
Creators, teachers and writing coaches can apply to be partners by emailing support@novelgpt.app. Partners get a custom code and earn 25% of what their friends pay for 12 months, rising to 30% while 25 or more of their friends are paying. Partners are paid in money. Credit packs earn 15%.
When rewards are paid
- Hold. Every reward is on hold for 30 days after the payment, in case it is refunded. If a payment is refunded during the hold, its reward is cancelled. If it is refunded later, the reward is taken off your next payout (or off your credits).
- Money. We pay approved money rewards once a month by PayPal or Wise, once you have at least US$50 (US$20 for partners). We email you to set up payment and may ask for the details tax law requires. You are responsible for any tax on what you earn.
- Your account. Rewards belong to the account that owns the link. If you delete your account, rewards not yet approved are cancelled.
Rules
You must not:
- refer yourself, or create or use extra accounts to earn rewards or bonuses;
- send spam or unwanted messages, or post your link where the rules of a site or community forbid it;
- bid on "NovelGPT" or similar terms in search ads, or pretend to be NovelGPT or speak for us;
- offer cash, gifts or other incentives for signing up through your link, or make false claims about NovelGPT;
- hide that you earn from your link. If you post about NovelGPT and can earn from it, say so clearly (for example "#ad" or "I earn a commission"), as advertising law requires.
If we believe these rules were broken, we may cancel rewards, take back bonuses and close the link, and we may suspend the account under our Terms of Use.
